Delete your account

You can delete your Musistry account at any time. Deleting it is permanent and can't be undone.

In the iPhone app

  1. Open Musistry and go to Profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out.

The Android app gets the same button in its next update. Until then, delete your account by email.

By email

If you can't sign in, email hello@musistry.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days.

What's deleted

  • Your sign-in and your profile: name, photo, bio, instruments, experience, videos, website, and resume
  • Your applications, church memberships, and saved gigs and posts
  • Your conversations and messages, and your notifications
  • The devices registered for your push notifications
  • Any church you're the only admin of, with its logo and its payment method. Its open and booked gigs are canceled, and the musicians involved are told.

If you were booked on an upcoming gig, it's canceled and the church is told.

What's kept

  • Payment and payout records held by Stripe, our payment provider, for as long as the law requires. A payout already on its way still arrives.
  • Safety reports you filed or that were filed about you, with your name and account removed, so we can keep the community safe.
  • Churches that have other admins, and the gigs and posts they published.
