About Musistry
Musistry is a focused marketplace for liturgical music, built so churches can find substitute organists, choir directors, cantors, and accompanists, and so musicians can find paid services in their travel radius.
What problem we're solving
Most churches today fill open services by texting the same handful of local musicians, hoping someone's free. Most musicians find church work through word of mouth, which limits their reach to people they already know. Musistry surfaces both sides directly: churches post a gig, musicians inside the travel radius see it instantly, and the application + booking + payout flow happens in one place.
How it works
- Churches post a gig with the date, stipend, and instruments they need.
- Musicians in the area see the gig in their feed and apply with a short note.
- The church reviews applications and hires the right person.
- The musician plays the service. Payment is processed automatically through Stripe, or paid by cash/check, whichever the church prefers.
